Dual 6V GC batteries

For those who have 2 6V golf cart batteries how do you have them wired?

How do you charge them if you remove them? I pull my battery and put it on a trickle charger at home when I am not at my camper.

My present battery is shot.

It's simple, just hook them up like this photo in your trailer. When you remove them for the winter, leave the wire between the two batteries in place and just hook the 12 VDC battery charger to the same terminals that the trailer was connected to.

Is there a minimum or preferred gage wire I need to use to connect the two batteries

Minimum is the same gauge as the POS and NEG battery cables. They all carry the same amperage/voltage so they all need to be the same...
