Winegard 360+ Router

Is anyone out there using the "Winegard Gateway 4G LTE Router? I'm not so interested in streaming or the wifi, but would like to have better cell service when boondocking. When we're dry camping we usually only have weak cell signals and would like to enhance our ability to communicate. This interests me because our unit is pre-wired for this router and even, I can install without issue. Thanks

I installed the gateway router in my 26RBS as soon as I brought it home last September. Although you don’t use the WiFi portion, that’s the primary reason I got the gateway. It works pretty well.

Today I got a Verizon sim and service added to our cellular plan. I popped the sim in, and switched over to it from my home Wifi. I don’t have a lot of data for you on how well it works, but we’re heading out soon for a couple of weeks and will see how it does.

Thank you, if you think about it please "pm" me with updates. Did you install the unit? If so, was it hard? I was thinking about the "Winegard" sim, that way I don't have to pay for service the 4 or 5 months of the year we can't use the trailer.

It is not a cell phone booster and does nothing for actual phone service.

It does improve cell wifi signal because it is on the roof and not inside a trailer.

You will experience better internet with the Gateway 1000 from the cell signal but it won't change your ability to receive voice or text.
