In-Command

I have a 2022 Cougar 364BHL and my in-command does not read the tank levels correctly. I can fill my fresh water tank completely and it will read 3/4 full. And my black tank will show 3/4 full when it's actually completely full and burping. Could the wrong floor plan be loaded into it or do I need to take it to the dealer? or does anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

You could take it in, but it may cost you camping time, as well as money.
I am now on my third travel trailer, and this one has in-command in it.
The tank sensors are no more reliable than the previous two trailers.
I don’t even bother with looking at the gauges. I have learned about how many days use we can use the tanks and listen for the gurgling and burping. That’s when I pull out my tote.
If you are obsessed with the gauges working like they are meant to, I think there are systems that may be more accurate. Just be ready to open your wallet.
These are just my thoughts and worth what you paid to get them. LOL!
Anyway, I wish you the best with it and happy camping.

I don’t have the system but from what I've read the floorplan being incorrect typically doesn’t cause incorrect tank levels being inaccurate. You can reset the BCM by removing all power for a min then reconnecting power. Since it was both wasre and fresh tanks leads me to ask how level is the trailer? Those tanks are shallow so if the unit is out of plumb by a bit the water can pool on the opposite side exposing the top sensor.

Thanks guys. But this is a new camper and they all show only 3/4 full when they are completely full. when the fresh water is overfilling the monitor only shows 3/4 full. and when the other tanks are full it only shows 3/4 full. When I dump they will show empty. All I'm saying is all the tanks are off by 1/4 when they are full. Is there a fix for this?

Other than making sure the wiring is connected, tight and not shorted/grounded, nope, there's no "fix".... On the older, stand alone monitor panels, you could replace the circuit board or the entire monitor panel. On the "In-Command system" that device is incorporated in the "system panel electronics". So, what used to be a $14 part is now a $1400 part....

I'd suggest that if it is a concern to you, the first 90 days is your best window with a warranty repair. After that time, many dealerships consider that type of repair as an "adjustment" which Keystone only warrants for the first 90 days... While it "may not be the legal definition of an adjustment", if you can avoid having to climb that hill, it eliminates the potential frustration....

So, if it's a concern for you, contact your dealer and discuss it.

If the reboot doesn't work then you need to confirm the wires for the top sensors from each tank is physically connected to the board. If they are, then you need to test them for the presence of volage with the tanks full. If no voltage then you have to drop the coroplast and trace the wires back to the tanks to see if they are connected to the sensors.

If you want them to be "accurate" you've got a long row to hoe with lots of headaches & aggravation!.
We've had numerous rvs of all makes, models & prices & have yet to have one that it was worth the effort to open the cabinet door to look at the tank levels.
I'd guess in your case there's probably a probe at 1/4, 1/2 & 3/4 but not at the top of the tank so 3/4 is as full as it will indicate.
The same may be true when empty. Once the fluid passes the 1/4 probe it'll read empty, but you may still have nearly a 1/4 of a tank.
There's not a float in the tanks like your vehicle gas tank, it's not a gauge, but the cheapest easiest to install probe system that can be purchased in bulk installed by assembly line workers that were flipping burgers or plowing Amish feilds with a team of horses yesterday.

There is a CALIBRATION menu for the holding tanks... The resistance values of each tank are set in ohms and this is how the BCM does the Analog reading of the tank sensor probes and converts to a digital signal so that the BCM can now display the tank liquid level "Somewhat Accurately"

You have to know the resistance value of each tank probe installed in order to be able to enter the correct values in the Calibration menu...

These are on a tag for each tank and you most likely can't see the tags unless you drop the coroplast...

In Command is such a use friendly system...

You can also measure the voltage for each tank sensor being sent to the BCM connection terminals and see if it matches these voltage values at empty, 1/3, 2/3, and full
