Glue For Cougar Logo to Windshield
I have a 2019 Cougar where the Cougar individual letters on the windshield are starting to come off. Not sure what type of material the letters are made of. Just wondering if anyone has a suggestion on the best type of glue to use to re-glue them to the glass windshield.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum
They are decals with an adhesive on the back side. If both surfaces are CLEAN, I have had some success with a mist of water and a heat gun set to LOW. If the decal gets too warm it will wrinkle and shrivel up.
After wetting both surfaces, wet the front of the decal and use a squeegee. Keep the front of the decal wet v

You may want to try finding a little graphic company that specializes in vehicle lettering. They may have some glue or be able to reglue it better then you can..if not they can take a picture and using a computer they can recreate the graphic and probably install pretty cheap…Ive had my entire company trucks lettered for under $700 so I imagine one word sticker could be around $100

That’s cheap. I’m guessing you’d have to buy the whole “word” and I’m willing to bet the cost is north of 3-400.00

I bet they do cost that much for factory…I wasn’t sure if you were questioning how much a vehicle graphics company would charge for one word..sorry for the confusion

If I remember correctly, several years ago, Keystone was having problems with decals fading, cracking and flaking off trailers. They changed graphics companies and came out with a 5 year warranty on graphics. I haven't heard that program has been terminated, so I'd suspect the decals are warrantied by the graphics company for 5 years. The dealership may or may not go to bat for you on this one, but you could start by questioning Keystone's customer service by asking if that program is still in effect for your trailer brand... You might be surprised and they may say that if you send them a photo of the damage, they'll have the graphics company send you a new decal...
That program may have ended, but sure would be worth asking Keystone to get an answer.
