Gas valves

Does anyone know if the aux propane fitting on our campers used for grills is high or low pressure?

Thanks

Vic

It will be low pressure since it’s downstream of the regulator. If your using a bbq with a regulator, there won’t be enough pressure to get a proper flame. Most manufacturers have become aware and offer non regulated connections.

My 2014 Cougar is low pressure BUT it’s so far underneath the fifth wheel I would be crawling around on hands and knees. I just got a newer style adapter for the Extended-A-Stay. Already have the LP hoses I’ve collected over the years and I can use the lanterns and grills. Just connect and drop it down below the skirting, out of the LP storage compartment.
