Charging house battery

Will towing my 5th wheel charge the house battery?

Yes it will as long as the “charge line” is enabled. Depending on Tow vehicle, there may be a fuse or relay or both that need to be installed.

Easy way to know is with a volt/ohm meter. Plug into the tow vehicle and start the engine. Measure the voltage at the trailer battery, anything over 13VDC and it’s charging.

To be honest, I just assumed that my truck was charging my batteries, but I will now do the volt meter to find out.
