Year Around Camping in Central NC - Winterize?

We recently purchased a 2019 Keystone Springdale 38fl that is setup in a campground with power and water hookups. We intend to use the camper year around so we don't really want to winterize it if we can help it. Running water and toilets are very much appreciated in the winter! My question is has anyone in the Central NC area gotten through the winter by just leaving the furnace set to about 55 - 60 degrees without winterizing? I definitely don't want to damage the pump or plumbing but don't want to winterize every Sunday when we leave either. Anyone else in a similar situation? Am I going to spend a fortune on propane?

If there’s a safe way to keep a reasonable amount of heat protecting your water and drain lines you should be able to do it. People add extra insulation, skirting, a safe heat source in the basement/pass through, etc...

If you are going to make/use this as an ad hoc fixed mobile home you need to take the same types of precautions; skirt it, insulate it etc. You are going to be in NC which has some very favorable weather...but then sometimes not. Expect the best and prepare for the worst.

Both these guys have awesome advice. Heat loss can be huge in any RV. And yes, without someway to trap/keep heat in, you will “burn” through propane fast.
