Sad Day V.2.0

Took my TT to winter storage this afternoon.
Indoor semi heated for $330.00 from now till any time in April.
I like that my TT loaded is about half the max tow weight of my TV. 4400 lbs loaded vs. 9600 lbs rated tow.
The really nice thing about being so far under MAX is that I almost forget I'm pulling.
We only did around 8000 miles this year, too much life got in the way.
It's about 20 minutes from my house to the winter storage with a few hills. Gosh, I love the sound of a 5.3L V8 doing what it was bred to do. I'm an American male and the sound of a V8 is in my bones.
Sad to put the TT in storage but the drive over brought back lots of good memories.

Sounds like you are looking at the weight of your trailer...which is great. Measuring that against the "max towing weight" is a waste of time. You need to look and measure all the other "more critical" weights vs "max towing weight" - it is meaningless.

Only...haha!

That's phenomenal pricing for 6 months of indoor heated storage. I pay about that price for an outdoor, crushed gravel lot sharing space with 1200 other RVs and trailers.

If you like the sound of a 5.3L GM small block, you'd surely like the sound of my unrestrictive Magnaflow exhaust coming from my 6.4L Hemi at 3/4 throttle pulling up a grade. One word...burly. Cold starts are even more pleasing.

Right. Nothing like the sound of a V8.

As for the miles, that's why we have 28,000 miles on a 19 month old truck.

My TT loaded for a 4 week trip weighed 4400 lbs. Actual tongue weight, not at the time of the total weigh-in but packed about the same was 531 lbs.
Silverado 1500 with trailer package per the sticker on my truck says I'm way under loaded and I'm happy with that.
