A year old
Bought the TT, put it in the park last April. Used it maybe 4 times, wife was ill and eventually passed away in August. When I went up to winterize it in October the Lipperts were balky but they worked after dumping WD 40 into the switches on a hunch. More trouble over the winter whenever I checked things. Now I have them down and and everything opened up for camping season and they don't move at all. I'll want to pull it out for some road trips later this year, plus I don't like leaving the feet jammed on the ground while not in use, what if a tire goes flat, etc?
I see all the posts about crappy water seals and cheap motor components, heck, I don't even know at this point if it's the motors or a connection issue. I had similar issues with our Dutchman but always got them working.
I'm thinking, I have a kick-butt Porter Cable cordless drill, why not just remove the motors and rig the drill up to do the job? I KNOW the drill will work.
Anyone else try this?
Thanks
