any Emergency escape Window in 2004 Sprinter?

Hi,
We just bought a 2004 Keystone Sprinter 300 FMKS, have not picked it up yet.
I wanted to know if any of the windows in it are emergency escape windows and if not can such a window be put in?

Does anyone know?
We are new to Camping and trailers and I am sure I will have many questions especially since we bought it As IS.

Thanks,
Arwenmark

THERE ARE ESCAPE WINDOWS IN ANY SLEEPING AREAS. THEY WILL BE MARKED. AND ENJOY THE CAMPER AND HOPE YOU NEVER NEED THE WINDOWS!

Hi and welcome aboard. There should be at least one in the bedroom and usually has a red handle and a removable screen but cannot tell by pictures I looked at. Newer trailers are set up this way so I would guess 2004's are the same.

Arwenmark,

Here's a copy of the 2004 brochure (from the Keystone archives)... it's a scanned copy, and not very clear, but it should give you a bit more info on your Sprinter.

Based on these ads (photos) below, it looks like the Emergency Window may be on the very 'back/rear' wall in the bedroom. It's difficult to see, but it appears
(exterior photo) to be *hinged* at the top. You might check for one in the sofa/dinette slide-out area, which is also a common location.

Although this is a 2007, the video shows the "RED Handle/lever", which typically indicates an emergency window.
See the rear bedroom window about 1:30 mark.

Hope this helps & to the forum.

I can say that pretty much every exit I have encountered is hinged. I have seen some class A motorhomes with a large window that has a "rip cord" on the outer edge of the glass. Those are a one time use.
