Howard Frankland Bridge over Tampa Bay

Has anyone towed over it? Thinking of maybe taking the Gandy instead. Would love to hear from someone about their experience. I will be traveling to Ft Desoto Thursday and its only my 2nd trip with the camper (and first with my new equalizer hitch). Just worried about high winds blowing me off the bridge!

Sounds like you're coming south on I-275. We live near Ft. D and have gone both ways on the H-F with a 26' 5th wheel without any problems lately. Just a little caution is needed in the construction area in Tampa. Enjoy your trip.

yep from Orlando. I don't have a 5' er, a 30 ft long TT. I may just take the Courtney Campbell. I am scared the winds could make it too much of a thrill ride for me!
