Raptor 3812TS year differences?

Hello everyone. I'm currently looking to purchase a used Keystone Raptor 3812ts and have been looking at the specs of them on the Keystone website. I assume they've all been pretty much the same, but the weight capacities are different on them. 2008 has shipping weight/carrying capacity/hitch weight as 12965/3535/2850 respectively. 2009 13227/4773/2980 respectively, and 2010 and beyond 13229/4771/2980. The big difference is between 2008 and 2009. I am currently looking at a 2008 and am wondering if there were big changes to the axles or frame or if they're pretty much identical and why the 2009 and beyond can handle a considerable more amount of weight. Thank you.

That's probably best. There is some quirkiness between units of different years. For instance, I bought a '14 Passport 238ML which has an upper bunk capacity of 150lb (per the factory sticker). Others here with a '12 and later '14 which both have 300lb stickers. I called Keystone and the person said it was built to hold an "average" person, up to 180lbs.
