My Time has come

to winterize, We just finished a 10 day/9 night camping trip to the coast of SC. It was windy and cold most of the week. We started the 1st weekend with wind and some rain, then the temps dropped down into the 30's at night. I ran two heaters one larger one in the living area and one smaller one in the master(only) bedroom. Had my gas furnace set on 66 just in case it ran the first night and then the last two nights as the electric heaters could not keep up with outside temp drop. Woke up Sunday morning to a nice 26 degree morning. Nothing like packing up with everything frozen. Smart me put most of the stuff up Saturday afternoon. I have got to winterize tonight as the temps are going into the high 20's and low 30's over the next few nights. Last chance while the weather is some what warm. This was our 12th year camping at the beach over Thanksgiving week and it might have been the coldest in the last 8-9 years. The first year ever, we were in the popup and had Northeastern storm blow by.. that was an experience I dont want to repeat, but I can honestly say we have been blessed with warm weather most years and good friend's to share the campfire with and plenty of food to eat and we did have power. I am thankful for that.
I am also praying for our northern camping friends who are still dealing with SS Sandy's after affects and the others still dealing without power or homes this holiday season.
So I'll be around lurking the forums and helping where I can.
