Lift blocks?
Does anyone have experience using lift blocks to gain 3"-6" of height? My axles came "flipped" from the factory, so that's not an option Looking for real world results as opposed to opinions if possible.
Thx.

Have longer spring hangers installed and gusseted also. That is the best way to go. Photo shows one of the hangers you need to replace or extend. I wouldn't go much more than 3".

I have seen units with with a piece of 2"X6" steel tube welded to the frame to extend and raise. Then the brackets were welded to that made for one tall trailer!!
I am about 2" low at the springs, and might use blocks to see if it changes how it tows, it is currently up a bit in the front. I am not sure if I would want to use long term.
Hank how much is yours extended?

Thanks for the ideas. I've seen the section welded to the frame, but not the modified perch that Hank has. Hank, was it a DIY, or did you have it done?

That is stock .... I will be having them modified by a spring shop as soon as finances allow. This is what they recommended to me and would not do blocks. They will also be gusseting them somehow so they don't bend. Mine will only be a 1" lift for tire clearance. Almost not worth it since they clear now but are very close.

Thanks...did you or will you upgrade wheels/tires too for additional height?
I was thinking about adding two inches at the perch and an inch through wheel/tire upgrade...

Looking at your Avatar I don't understand why you need 3" to 6" of lift for your current set up, it looks very close to level.
Do you plan on putting a lift on the TV?
Russ

There is a mild lift on the Ex already, but I've got a drop hitch, so it sits level. The problem is that it still seems to scrape in quite a few places, and especially with the back bumper pulled out to haul the kids bikes (sliding bumper storage). We have recreational property that we are just a few inches away from being able to get into - that's the main reason. I had to replace a stab jack on the last trailer - don't want to have to worry every time I pull into a parking lot.
