What happened?

The dw and I went to our local Camping World just to look at a new Alpine 3500RE. We just wanted to look at the floor plan to see it will work for us. They made us a killer deal on the Alpine and a fair trade for our tt. Before I knew it we were signing papers and take delivery on the 27th. What just happened?

Let me ‘splain. What just happened was that you made a bunch of us jealous. That thing is nicer than my house.

If it makes you feel better you can say that you are doing your part to kick-start the economy. BUT! Everybody here knows you really wanted that trailer and are going to enjoy the heck out of it. Keep us informed of the continuing episode of "We were just looking". Good luck, Hank

What we found was Higher price but new is a cheaper interest rate. When the math settles we spent less than 50$ more a month for $15k more on a new unit for the same term. New is good but then it was am Alpine too so maybe it's something deeper and more complex mystical maybe

Yep, been there just this past March. Bought a Jayco 17z July 2010, traded it in March 2011 for the Laredo 303TG. Like you I only wanted to go in and look at the floor plan of a different Laredo model. It happens so fast, especially when the DW is there. Congrats on the new camper.

What you needed was my wife with you and you would have walked away with nothing and looked just like a dog that just got caught eating out the garbage! I am not going to say anything to my wife about this post so nobody bring it to her attention!!!!!!

If my wife made the decision she would buy one as soon as she saw what she liked. She told a salesman that she didn't care which one we got, she just wanted one NOW. She is really ready to start the RV experience. I am looking for the perfect model with the design, weight, length, standards, etc. She looks inside while I check out everything else. I have had to walk away and look at something else several times before the Salesman pulled out the paperwork. Whenever a Salesman says to come in the office I head for my truck instead. She is normally very conservative/penny-wise when buying something, but she is ready to go.

It happens... I think they spray something in the air, good luck with your new toy. Spring will be here soon, gotta love it!

TAScarbee is right

Correcto....spray is in the air....I recall a funny happening while we attended a national motorcycle rally in Lake George, NY (Americade). While walking main street, an urge came over us to eat carmel corn. WE BOUGHT and I might add, enjoyed. Later we discovered the carmel corn smell was being pumped through vents to passerbys who became customers.

Merry Christmas....

I know the feeling we took our raptor 3612ds in to get it repaired after a tire blew out and ended up trading for a new alpine 3500re. But that's what she wanted so it's all good. Should go to pick up dec. 30.
