Question Clear coating trailer

We are picking up a Fuzion 260 tomorrow. The dealer offered us a clear coat option that protects the trailer from uv rays, the decal package, finish in general. Anyone have this done and what is your opinion? We live in the Northwest and will be spending time at the Oregon Dunes playing on the toys.
Thanks, duckfan

Save your money. Get a good wax and do the job yourself or get someone else to do it. A couple of good waxings a year - one at the beginning of the season and one before you put it to bed for the winter - should provide adequate protection.
Waxing and polishing takes a while ---- buy an electric polisher with the money you would have spent on the clear coat. You'll have plenty left over to buy some wax or, better, yet, some beer.

Personally I think it's a good idea. We all plan to wax out investment but most of the time it never gets done especially after the first time.

Thanks for the info. What it comes down to is I need to get a wax or the clearcoat on the trailer otherwise it will look like a old trailer sooner than later.
