dump valve

On my Montana 3670RL....after a few days of showering.....I pull the grey dump valve and very little water comes out.....and the handles seems relly easy to pullout. Makes me wonder if the valve is opening all the way as it is just a trickle of water coming out. Is there an easy way to access the valve? It and the black tank valve are inside the driver's side baggage compartment.

After you pull the handle and open the valve, does the flow of water ever subside? Also, do you have the clear 12" extension so you can actually see what is being dumped? If so, when it stops, go back in and turn the shower on and see if an equal amount of water comes through the line to the dump. If not then you know for a fact that you have trouble.

valve

I do have an clear extention on the sewer hose. I open the valve and it is kind of a trickle that comes out and that is after 3-4 days of showering. Guess I will crawl under and cut the underbelly to see what is going on. Will check th shower water also. Thanks!!

Are you sure the water hasn't already leaked out before you pulled the valve?

No...not sure about that. It could be since after a lot of showers there is a very little water to dump and the tub does not fill up.

Do you have a second grey tank or the valves could be labeled wrong. It could be a possibility going to your black tank trust my 2 cents worth

After you have dumped all of the tanks, leave your sewer hose connected. Now run the shower while opening each of the dump valves - one at a time. I think you will find that the dump valve handles are mislabeled.

I will try that....I think the handle of the grey tank is no longer connected.....dumped all my tanks today and it was just a trickle of water from the grey tank.

Angry

Found out the handle is not connected......came loose somehow. I have an extra gate valve right before the sewer hose connection and opened that up and the shower water just flowed out and that is with the shower valve closed.....time to dig in and find out how to fix it!
