Fuzion 371 holding tanks

While we are remodeling our house we have a nice setup going on in our hauler. Tonight however I have some concern. I topped off the grey water tank to find out in the shower. The shower water backed up into the shower to which I greatly reduced my water usage for the last few minutes. When I went outside I had water dripping in a few areas where the holding tank is presumed located. Anybody ever had this happen? Does it have an overflow protection at the top of the tank?? I don't believe I have a pipe leak because I checked that area immediately. It was coming for the tank area I'm sure. Any thoughts or anyone else had this occur??

There should be a panel in your basement storage area that is removable. Once it's out of the way, you should be able to visualize the top of your holding tank, the bottom of the shower and all the associated plumbing.

I believe that the showers in all Keystone fifth wheels since about 2014 have eliminated the "P" trap and have gone to a Hepv0 waterless trap. There is some information on this type of trap here: http://www.drainmaster.com/main/2011...to-the-rescue/

As for the dripping water, possibly a loose/leaking connection at the vent, a loose connection on the Hepv0 trap or the shower may have "leaked" between the floor pan and the side wall ??? Only a good visual inspection will reveal the source.

Good Luck

There isn't any overflow protection on RV holding tanks, other than the fresh water tank. It sounds like either you have a crack in the tank or the drain going into the tank isn't sealed.

Some drains are glued into the tank and others are pushed into a rubber seal. If yours is the later, then it's possible that overfilling the tank caused enough pressure for the seal to leak.
