Battery Charger

Thank you to all of you who assisted me in figuring out what six volt batteries to buy. So now when I buy two six volt batteries what is the best way to charge them. I boondock frequently (like 95% of the time). When I return I store my trailer at a storage place in which I do not have access to electricity. So in the past I would take the two 12 volt batteries home and charge them. Now that they are replaced with six volts what charger should get to best charge and maintain.

Thanks as always for the information.

I would use a Battery tender to charge them since you have to take them home to charge them. What ever you do dont set them directly on the ground. It will suck the life out of them. Set them on a block of wood or work bench.

If your storage is outside, and you don't have 110v, you might consider "solar". Just a thought...

Thanks
I just got my 2003 Montana delivered last night. Tried to park it in my side yard but the guy that delivered it to us couldn't get it parked and he tried for a while so its parked at the curb.LOL
It sure would look good with a truck attached. The deal came up before I was ready and just couldn't pass it up. Still have 5 months of car payments left before we can get the truck. LOL
Lots of good information here. Especially the full black tank thread.
