prae35,
We've never traveled 65 through the entire state of AR, but I can offer a few overnight RV stops which may be helpful (depending on your plans, of course).
Pine Bluff, AR: Pine Bluff Regional Park [Hwy 65, go N onto Regional Park Dr]. Nice/clean park, large sites w/ lots of trees/shade, on the lake.
Little Rock, AR: We typically don't stay *in town*, but there's several RV Parks along 65/530/30/40.
Ozark, MO: Stage Stop RV [Hwy 65, at Jct Hwy CC, turn East]... not scenic by any means
it's a gravel parking lot with Full Hook-up's, WiFi & long pull-thru's -PLUS-
it's directly behind Lambert's Cafe #2 - "Home of the throwed Rolls". Fun place to eat!
www.throwedrolls.com The original Cafe is in Sikeston, MO.
Springfield, MO: KOA Springfield [off of I-44, west side of town, Exit 70] Older park, but nice/clean with some shaded pull-thru's, very nice owners/staff, good overnight stop.
Hope this helps, and
to the forum.
