Weight distribution bars

I have an older Draw-tite weight distribution hitch from our previous lighter TT.
I believe the bars are 550 lbs.
Our new current TT has a 550 lbs tongue weight, so I am guessing that I should upgrade the weight distribution bars.
Is there a certain weight I should go up to? There seems to be several different weights 600, 700 up to 1000 lbs. Is there such thing as "too much"?
I was also looking online and found some bars that are from Curt Manufacturing, and was wondering if anyone knew if they would be compatible with the Draw-tite WD hitch.

Current TT: 4900 lbs empty, 550 Tongue/hitch weight
Current TV: 2005 Chevy Tahoe Z71 with towing package
