2008 Cougar 302rls slideouts

I have some instructions from the trailer manuals that say to check the slide out lubricants. I can't find where to add the suggested lubricant, steering fluid. Any help for this?

I just purchased a 311bhs and I looked all over for mine this weekend. It would be nice if the book said where to find the unit. I located mine under the front of the trailer. I was looking at the electronic jacks and looked up under the trailer and saw the slide out pump/gear box, what ever it is up under the front sitting on the frame. The fluids looked half full so I left it for another day. Try checking there.

Interesting. I just had time and space to crawl under the trailer. There was one pre cut opening but was at least a foot from where it needed to be. After I cut the right spot I could see the motor and hand crank . But there wasn't and place to see if there was fluid or not. there is what looks like a screw plug but I could not tell if there was fluid or not.Going to get a small turkey baser like item to put fluid in a then when it over flows I'll know its full.
