Question about heading into Montana...

Hello friends,

I hope everyone is enjoying their camping season!

So I'm a Canadian and I'll be heading into Great Falls, Montana, from Lethbridge, Alberta, in about a week. I'll be taking our highway 4 down into the U.S., and then 15 from the Canadian border into Great Falls.

I'm just wondering if there's anything I need to know about the interstate, whether it be tollbooths, scary sections, big hills, etc. Or is it pretty much just smooth sailing from the border into Great Falls?

thanks,

Kevin

I can't answer your questions, just wanted to say enjoy your trip, come visit the Oregon coast we (Oregonians) like to share the beauitful area. Lots of state and private RV parks.

Smooth sailing all the way. No scary hills--some winding passes, etc., but nothing to worry about. No tolls. You'll enjoy the trip.

Thanks for the advice, theeyres. Sounds like it'll be an easy trip down there, and not too far from the Canadian border.

Ken/Claudia, I've heard great things about the Oregon coast, it's on my list of things to do!

I'm not the bravest driver out there (don't go much above the speed limit, only drive for a maximum of about four hours per day, tow with a much heavier vehicle than needed) and this is just my second summer of doing this kind of thing. Really looking forward to Montana!
