In search of Gopher wood

I talked to a buddy of mine near Peachtree City, GA today. He handles the waster water for them. He said that they have had so much rain in the last week that his guys are ISO Gopher wood.
The lakes on the Savannah River are all full for the first time in years and Lake Hartwell is running three gates open to keep the level below flood stage.
SCDNR has issued advisories to boaters about buoys and bridge heights, as a reminder because the levels have been low for so long.
We have had two kayakers pulled out by our swiftwater rescue team in two days.
Keep safe and enjoy your vacations!!

We had a blast. The water was almost 1 foot above full pool. They were releasing fast but... The two lakes above we're too.
Amazing how that works.
