Bad news & good news.....

First the bad news. A bit of a storm went thru yesterday.....my Dodge got smacked

But the good news is it wasn't my F250 that got squashed so we're off to the races in New Hampshire this weekend

Wow! Having a tree fall on your truck makes for a bad day. Is it drivable, or does it have to be towed to the shop?

Fortunately nobody was hurt AND we're fully covered by insurance....

Cut the tree up for firewood today and the tow truck theoretically arrives tomorrow morning.

Now if I can just convince the adjuster that the crack in the windshield was caused by the tree

Maybe you can make some money by selling before/after pictures to a PDR shop for their marketing campaign.

I'm surprised the cap didn't shatter. What's it made of?

That's a Leer truck cap made from fibreglass. Surprisingly, the tempered glass window on the passenger side is still in one piece.

I well know the "sinking feeling" you had to get when you saw this damage. Hopefully, your insurance company will handle everything and the body shop can get it back to "new condition" with no hassles.

Good Luck !!!!!

A friend recently had is old car in the front yard for sale for $800. Same story tree took it and he only got $320 at the scrap yard.If it was driveable he would have got $650
