Springdale 294BHSSR Owner Looking for Tips
Just brought home a Springdale 294BHSSR yesterday.
I don't see many threads about this model ? I can't believe it is not more popular ?
Anyone have this model ? Do you have any tips ?
Don't ask about the clamp on the bottom rear...Really that fence post jump right out into the side of the camper.

Good thing it was only a fence post. People have actually had fuel pumps do it. Anyway congrats on the new wagon, and welcome to the group.

I've got a 2011 Springdale 26.6 with super slide which
is 29 ft long.
Yes not many people either have or comment on them.
Ours was about 1 yr old when we bought it and we've had
it almost 1 yr now. The couple we bought it from moved
up to a 37 ft 5th wheel.
No problems so far.

Thanks, I haven't tried the oven yet. I'll give it a go tonight and make sure it works properly.

Tried out the oven. It made a lot of smoke (I guess because it was new). Set off the smoke alarm and it took about a hour to get all the smoke out.
I hope this doesn't happen every time we use it ?

Yes from your floor plan picture they kept the same floor plan
or went back to it. My wife particularly likes the bankett instead
of a table and two bench's.

I have a 2012 F150 EcoBoost SuperCrew with the max tow package.
1740 payload
11,200lbs max trailer weight
I'm under on all weights, but I do know it is back there. I think the length hurts me most of all. 33' trailer with a 145" wheelbase truck.
I have new LT tires on order (why would Ford put "P" tires on a truck with a max-tow package ???).
P.S. I also use a Reese Dual-Cam hitch.

Camping Season
Congrats on the new rig!!!! We have a 2012 294BHSSR. It is GREAT!!!We spend every weekend in it, Spring through Fall. As you could imagine that is a lot of time, and it has been excellent for everyone. The only real issue was the hot water tank stopped working on electric, but that is getting fixed under warranty. Watch your drawer slides on the kitchen drawers, they are pretty weak and don't hold up very well. We love the outdoor kitchen, Everyone should have one! Hopefully you will have the same great experience that we are having. Keep in touch, Great to hear from someone else with a 294......Happy Camping !!!!! Pittsburgh, Pa
