Water pressure when hooked up to city water

When I'm hooked up to the city water. Why is the pressure in the kitchen area less than in the bathroom? Wife thinks there something wrong.

It would really help if you shared some information like year and full model of your trailer. Also you state "when connected to city water". That's an inference that it doesn't happen when using the fresh water pump. Is this correct? Have you removed the kitchen faucet aerator and cleaned it?

Pull the aerator and check it. How long have you had the trailer? I assume you know that water pressure at one faucet is affected by turning on other faucets?

From my own experience, the water-saver restrictor in the kitchen faucet is the issue. Grey tanks fill up fast enough, but a high-flow faucet will only make it worse. Since the kitchen often is the biggest water hog, it tends to have the most flow restriction. My outside kitchen faucet has no flow restriction and can almost blow a cup out of your hand.

If tank capacity isn’t an issue, just install a household kitchen faucet instead. I have a pull-down head on my faucet and it seems more satisfying when I flip the nozzle to “spray” instead of “stream”. My wife loves washing dishes (go figure), but if we had no flow restrictor I would be emptying the tank on a daily basis. Fine when you have hookups, but that is unusual for us so I would have to drag out the portable dump tank. No thanks!

Perhaps the filter on the end of your kitchen sink faucet is plugged. Likely it has one, but may not. Otherwise, unknown.

Check the faucet screens for blockage. There should be negligible pressure differences between faucets.

Are you using the mobile app? It won't be visible unless you are viewing the "full site" mode.
