Rockahock camp ground

Hello DW and I are set to goto Rockahock campground in Lanexa va in July. It will be our 2nd trip this year so far. As we just got back last week from Friscowoods Nc. We got to sit back and watch the sun set. Thats a big part of it for us
Try to get another one in but with other trips not camping and work we will see. Still learning alot from talking to people and on this site

I’ve camped at Frisco Woods literally hundreds of times over the years. Always in a tent, never a RV. Started with weekend surfing trips as a teenager in the early 70s, then family surf/fishing trips after the kids were born in early 90s. Proposed to DW on Frisco Beach on the tailgate of my Bronco on 4th of July, 1987. The Wards (owners) sent me Christmas cards for years. Times were different back then. Needless to say your photo evokes a flood of fond memories.
