Silver River State Park is on the East side of Ocala. Very nice park with a lots of pull thrus. We stay there a couple times a year. Getting through Ocala to get to the park is pretty easy.

There are several campgrounds in that area that are visible from I75. I have never stayed there but they look very nice ..... especially if just for an overnighter. If you Google Ocala area campgrounds I'm sure they will show their proximity to the highway. JM2¢, Hank

Here is a link that might help "Camping along Florida I75".

Silver River State Pk is my choice also, love it there.

I would say it is about 20-25 mins east of I-75 - just take State Road 40 east towards Daytona.

They have great large, mostly wooded type of sites.....full hook ups.
