Water damage mystery

We have a keystone hideout camper that has severe water damage under the lynoliam. We absolutely cant figure out whats going on. Its in front of the slide out. Im wondering if anyone would have any ideas as the source.

I would think you know this, but if not water runs down. So look up, that could be coming down the inside of the slide walls and puddles on the floor. Questions would be have you been using it when raining. Do you think it came it while slide open or closed. Do you pull it it rain, road spray could come up and forced in.
Water damage is an investigation. Where you find it is where in ended up not entered. Checks would be roof, walls above slide, slide seals, slide corners, windows. As you remove flooring you might see patterns of were the water flowed.
Sorry no way can I give you the answer to your question.

Right, I understand nobody can give a direct answer but you have been very helpful. The traiker is permanent at a camp ground and can sitt several weeks unused withe the slide in. We have never seen any hints of water on the linoleum when opening the slide so some how its getting in Between the linoleum and wood. I will look over closely the points you made next weekend. Thanks much..

Our leak turned out to be from an outside storage door seal. We found it by spraying water on small areas one at a time. You could start by spraying water on one side of the slide out.

I'm not an expert, but I've read other posts here about water damage to the ultra lites. The water can wick up into that particle board so it may be coming from underneath. I read that the lining that they put in the wheel wells gets damaged from rocks and debris being tossed up. Causes pin holes that let water in as it sprays up from the wheels. The flooring 'sandwich' soaks it up. Just a theory.

I have one spot where the linoleum has lifted a bit. You can't see it but you can feel it when you step on the one spot. I don't *think* the floor is soft there but I'm not 100% sure. It feels more like the linoleum isn't adhered. It's not in the slide but it is near the wheel well. I haven't had time to investigate. Others have reported soft flooring near the door right at the threshold. I have that but there's no leak. I think it's just a poor design.

turbo... the fella said it was parked and not on the road. Suspect the seal from the slide out is the culprit.

Your observation was spot on for the lightweights on the road. There are gaps in the wheel well location that do allow water to saturate from below.

Mine didn't spend much time on the road so hopefully I don't have that issue. It was parked at the same campground its entire life and was towed out when the season began and then put back in storage at the end.
