TV Battery Recommendations

My 2016 F250 Gasser needs a new battery.

The battery currently on it is a FoMoCo factory original. I bought the truck new and it has a tow package. The CCA listed is 650; the battery is also marked MK BXT-65-650.

I will likely trade this truck in for a new one within 24 months.

I would likely get the replacement battery from O'Reilly Auto Parts or NAPA.

Any suggestions or considerations appreciated.

If you plan on getting rid of it, I would buy the least expensive with the same CCA and group size.

Check with the Ford Parts dealer.... When I needed new batteries for my SuperDuty diesel, Ford's "best battery" was cheaper than WalMart's "OEM replacement"...

Essentially, Ford has two battery performance levels. The OEM (Motorcraft Plus 24) and the upgrade (Motorcraft Max 36).

When I bought mine about 4 months ago, the 36 was the same price as the WalMart EverStart OEM.

I've one same thing. I've also bought tires for our F150 at the dealer. They price matched any tire store that I could find. Every dealer is different but the local Ford dealer we bought the F150 from has a great service dept. They also have a huge deisel shop and work on all the state and county ambulances and other equipment. I feel fortunate that we have a good shop that's only about 10 miles away.

Thanks for your replies.
I ended up with the FMC Motorcraft Max 36...through my local O’Reillys. It was closer than the dealer and the same price.
