Water pump problem

Has anyone experience a water pump problem. The water pump is humming but will not pressure up?

A couple things come to mind.

1: How cold is it where you are?
if any pipes are frozen the pump will not work.

2: if not frozen any debris in the pump head will cause it to not pressure up.
They are very easy to take apart and clean, just remove all the screws around the pump head and pull it apart. it is a very simple mechanism.

Yes We are traveling and we are in Waco Tx this morning. Temp is 26. I thinking water around the pump is frozen and the water is unable to flow to the pump. My question while waiting for things to thaw out here in Waco Texas is there anything can do to the camper to speed up the process? Or should I just patience and the temperature warm up?

Turn on the furnace & let it run, even while traveling, to help warm the lines up. If stopped open up around the pump & place an electric heater nearby.

My BIL & SIL came to stay with us a winter or 2 ago and they like to stay in the camper, since it is hooked up out on the pad.

I filled the water tank, since I knew it was going to be cold and the water hose would probably freeze, I figured the furnace would keep the water lines from freezing.

My BIL turned the furnace off when they went to bed and the next morning the pump would not pump water.

I cranked the furnace back up, opened the cover on the pump cubby and after a while things were back to normal.

I have located the water pump. I lifted the top of the box over the water pump and placed a temporary ceramic heater next to the pump.

In my camper the water pump is located on the left side of the bed. It’s real easy to get to.

Going to let the heater warm up the water lines and give it another try in a few minutes.

Thanks to everyone with the quick responses to my post.
