Awning Color and Awning Anchors
Maybe you guys have fancy stoves. My stove needs to be manually lit, so I use a sparker. Works on the oven pilot light also.

Congrats on your purchase, I'm sure you will love the unit. We have had ours just over a year now. 2011 HC 291RLS Heading out next week for a week.
Water heater and furnace have automatic spark, oven has a standing pilot that needs to be hand lit and the burners on the stove have a knob (on the left side) for spark ignition. Hope this is of some help.

Awning Color
I am pretty sure that our awning is black - is this the color on all of the Cougars?
I most likely will order slide awnings, but am wondering if I want them black or white. Which is best or does it make any difference?

I am pretty sure our awning is charcoal gray & black stripe mixed and our slide toppers are gray to match the 5er. This is as well as I can remember.

Thanks for the reply - I am sure ours is the charcoal gray & black stripe also. We did not see it open when we bought it. The dealer says the toppers are gray/black, so will most likely be the same as what you have.
Did you have to get anchors for the main awning?

I need to make a correction, our slide toppers are black with black hardware/housing. Unsure what you mean by anchors. We plan to attach a sun screen to the front and then use a tie down strap at each end.

I'm not sure how much you can "tie down" the new electric awning. I would check my manual. But then again I still have the old kind. Hank
