Looking to purchase a Raptor 352TS

Hi All,

I'm looking to trade my Jayco Octane T29a for a Raptor 352TS. Can't find much info on this forum on this particular unit. I know it's a fairly new model but wondering if anyone out there has one and can comment. Also I have a 2016 Ford F350 CC 6.7L. I assume there will not be a pin weight issue with this truck. Thanks

Spec's list pin weight as 3250. If you aren't driving a dually you are right on the very border. Travel alone, no luggage and empty fuel tank. No problem.

Have you checked out Keystone's website? (www.keystonerv.com)? It has some information there --- floorplan, specs, etc., of the 352TS.

Pin weight published at 3250 empty. My 2016 F350 lariat 4X4 6.7 has a yellow sticker at 3434. Unless you have a dually I think you WILL have an issue with pin weight as I would have only 184# to max out. With nothing inside the camper and only me in the truck cab ~~ without a cup of coffee~~ nothing except the hitch in the bed I'd be over by 270#. Traveling light I'd probably be over by at least 1400# - 1800#.

This explains how to match your truck to your RV and how all the numbers and how the relate to each other. It's put out by the RVSEF (RV Safety and Education Foundation) that has done thousands of weighting since 1993.

My 2015 F350 has a yellow sticker payload at 3744 and with a B&W hitch, my wife, me and stuff we carry in the truck when we go camping on the scale I have 3,280 left over for pin weights.

Depends on the truck. My 2015 Ram 3500 (single axle) is rated for 4340 lbs so I'd feel comfortable towing this RV.

We just bought our 352TS last November. Turning in next week for a list of problems found so far.
Pulling with '12 Ram DRW Mega w/6.7l Cummins. Using B&W Companion Slider d2 short bed.
