Always Look up

This is what we woke up to at 6:00 am. Branch fell - no wind from about 40 ft up. Put two 6" holes in the fiberglass hard top roof. Had it hit a tent or a person I'm sure it would have killed them.

So in the future, I look up at camp ground before taking the site.

A widow maker. I always look up when tent camping in the woods BEFORE I pitch the tent.

Oh my, that stinks!

I am so glad it wasn't your camper as it could have come thru and hurt you badly.

I also hope that you have full coverage on that Jeep to get it fixed.......

I guess campgrounds have NO obligation to make sure dead wood isn't hanging from their trees, huh???

Many trees in southern NJ and Pa have been damaged by parasites or disease and are causing damage like this. Like you said the best advice is "Look up". JM2¢, Hank
