Battery Choice

I am in the process of purchasing a couple of six volt batteries. I was wondering if I should consider a specific brand. For example Camping World has Exide on sale. I see and hear a lot of guys have chosen Trojan six volt batteries. Is Interstate a good product as I think you can get them at Costco? As always I appreciate your insights.

I've always used Trojans in both marine and RV applications and they have performed very well over unusually long periods of time.

As Festus2 said, the Trojan brand is well known...can't remember anyone posting about poor service from these batteries...BUT, for my money, you can buy 6v golf cart batteries from Costco for $89. They used to be built by Johnson Con trols and I believe that they are now supplied by Exide. Exide is one of the oldest battery manufacturers around. We have had our Costco batteries for 3 1/2 years with no issue. JMHO

I run interstates in all our vehicles including our Passport 3320bh and my cummins. Great success and battery life.

Thank you for all of your insights. It appears there are multiple brands out there that will work. I think I will look at what I can get for a good price as long as it is the batteries all of you have suggested.
Thanks,
Mike
