Bike Rack idea for my Ford Expedition and Bullet..

My tow vehicle is a ford expedition and I tow a keystone bullet travel trailer. I am a newbie thus my question....would there be a problem that anyone here might be aware of if I use a "bones" bike rack on the back of my expedition? I think clearance should be okay as I can mount my two bikes higher than the hitch area. If I have clearance I can't see any problems, and was wondering if I am missing something? Is it a bad idea to have a bike rack on while towing a trailer? It is completely separate from the hitch.
