Brent, if you actually made it through half of these 10 sections, one fourth of the ABL, CBD, AFL, PDQ and the AFQ's then you're a better man than I. (Hey, hey, no comment from you George!)
By the time I made it through #8 I had lost count of all the initialisms, had never heard of any of them, and thought seriously about selling all oil futures and buying Tesla stock.

LOL. Yeah it's a deep dive for sure. But did you click on all the links to take you back to the previous blogs they referenced? That will get you in deep do-do. It's almost as bad as genealogy. "I just clicked on 4th the cousin to my half uncle, how do I get back OUT"?
That's a fairly informative blog but it helps to have a bit of interest in the petrochem world. The blog owner Rusty Braziel occasionally appears on crazy man Jim Cramers show on CNBC. At least one of the contributors was previously employed by the left leaning Houston Chronicle, so you can sometimes pick up that orientation.
They title their daily blog after a popular song title. Sometimes the history of the song and artist is as interesting as the blog itself.

Just like some of the posters on this forum, the article was verbose and unless you are an energy insider, perhaps incomprehensible.

I worked for our Federal Govt. for many years and was a master of buzz words, acronyms and double talk but have since lost my ability to read anything over a line or two and ask folks here nicely to keep posts to the point and terse and use paragraphs to break up points.

Articles posted should be geared to a 6th grade education (like a newspaper article) as that is about my highest level of reading comprehension these days.

It ain't nothing mysterious. I'm probably exposed to more energy news being in the Houston area and being a bottom feeder in a big refinery for 35 years. But yeah, I have to think about some of the acronyms too. I'm not above Googling.
It's something for me to read but I will admit to being a bookworm as far back as I remember. Mom was a schoolteacher, I blame her.
