Brand new F450

DW and I ordered this right after Thanksgiving. We shopped all big three models "with an open mind" and this Lariat F450 was the result. We pushed the King Ranch idea hard, but Ford doesn't like to give much in 'delete money' for removing those silly electric boards nor for the dual moon-roofs. So we just loaded up the Lariat and this is the result.
It rides just like a new Cadillac. (No, it most certainly does not)
It is getting 22 MPG at 75 MPH. (No, it most certainly does not)
All salesmen and women across all brands are very knowledgeable about their products. (That is the biggest lie)
I didn't know that all Ford pick-ups now have the new 10 speed transmission. Rams diesel is the biggest V-8 on the market and the Chevrolet 3500 might not come with a diesel engine. He would have to ask.
We found that across the board you better do your own research.
I'm off to Line-X of Lauderdale Wednesday morning on the advice of TT, sourdough and a number of others. The Platinum level is what we chose.
We can't get the fuel tank mounted until the bed liner is done.
We dragged the aluminum tool box along to see if we might be able to use it without "nose" interference. If it won't work we'll sell it cheap down here.

That Ford red is awesome. The F450 turning radius should be just as awesome.

Very nice. Do you notice the turning radius difference between the F350?

Congratulations. Great truck although I may be biased. 2 years and running on mine now and no regrets.
