Just purchased a used Cougar 24 footer and have questions

1. I'd like to add some shelves in the two cubby holes on either sides of the bed, but I am unsure what I can drill into. What is the width of the exterior wall of the trailer? What is the wall made of? What size screws are too long and will drill through the outside wall ( I don't want to do this). What do people typically do when they want to add shelves (my wife doesn't want me to screw the shelve from the finished side of the wall).

2. I have looked on line all over the place for a wiring schematic for this trailer, to no avail. I'd like to add a back up light and add some extra outdoor spots, but I don't know which wires are which. Any ideas where I can find a schematic?

3. I was thinking of adding a sliding drawer to the front cargo storage. Something that slides out and locks in either the in, midway, or out positions. I've been checking out the tips sections, and have not seen anyone do this. Is there a reason that it is not done?

Thanks

Rick
