Electrical Problem in High Country 32RES

We set up tonight at a camp site and discovered the kitchen side of the trailer does not have electricity. The outlets do not work, the TV doesn't go on, the refrigerator is running on gas, and the microwave doesn't work. We are plugged into a 30 amp outlet with a dog bone. I have checked the fuses and breakers and none of them are blown and I flipped the circuit breakers off/on. What can I check next?

Is your trailer wired for 110 or 220? If it is wired for 220 and you are using a single dog bone on a 30 amp 110vac outlet, you may only be feeding power to half the trailer.

Check and reset you ground fault outlets.

Possible, but my guess is that the TV, fridge, and microwave are not on GFCI loops.

Since all your problems are related to the slide-out I would suspect a loose wire in the junction box that feeds that slide. Follow the wire held up by a spring under the slide to find the location of the junction box. (also check that wire for damage) Disconnect from shore power before opening junction box and inspecting wires. Also could be a loose wire on the breaker but since it is more than one circuit that's doubtful. JM2¢, Hank

Never take for granted that some thing is NOT hooked into the GFCI loop. Ya might ( or maybe not), be suprised.

One of the first things I did when I bought this (End of Apr. this year), was activate the GFCI "Test" and see what DID NOT WORK. Did it during the acceptance insp'n. So I could ask the mechanic that was detailed to show me all of the "stuff" what was normal or not etc.

only a suggestion;

Worthy advice, Hank.

I am worried a bit that the OP hasn't gotten back to us on this problem. It is a serious one, and collectively, he's been offered 3 very good things that are very easy to do to begin to troubleshoot things.

My trailer's in storage 20 miles away so I can't dash out the door and look to see if anything similar can be replicated here.

All is welland I feel stupid.

I had set up the TT Thursday night, came home and worked
Friday. Returned home this morning. Unfortunately, I did not have internet access over the weekend. It turns out that my wife said she rearranged the power cord attached to the pedestal. Apparently it moved just enough to disconnected the plug to not receive any power. I had just setup, had checked the power, and all was good. I never thought to check the power cord again. It seems that all the AC power is one one side of the trailer. I appreciate all the suggestions but feel stupid for not double checking again that the cord was making a good connection to the pedestal.
