Laurel Lock in CT
Called a week ago to book a site, lady from the campground told me they have a great site for a 30' TT (pull right in and out). When we arrived a young girl in the office gave us the wrong directions to the site, which made us go down a very steep dirt hill with a 90 left turn at the end to go back up another steep dirt hill (had to use 4x4). Once we found the right site the pull in or out was not an option. Only way it would fit is if I had a 12' pop-up and a chevette. Had to back the TT and TV up about 130 feet (thank god for all the help from the seasonal campers, they where great). The lady I spoke with on the phone before came over and said they could use a tractor to help me into the site no way. They then decided that my TT would not fit and gave us another site in a wide open field with only elec and water, no cable or sewer like we should of had. They where nice enough to give us some fire wood and free ice cream from the store. Family and I will take this place off are list of places. Again thanks a ton from the seasonal campers for the help. Jay
