Need a wheel rim

I need to find a wheel rim for my 2o13 27RKS.
Keystone can no longer source them. I have a small air leak that no one can find, and since it continues after replacing the tires , I can only assume it is a porous rim.
Thanks,

A picture would help so we know what rims are on your unit now.

Are there any RV Salvage or Surplus places in your area? They may have what you need at a decent price.

Many Keystone brands source their wheels and tires from Tredit. Tredit has a lifetime warranty on the wheels to the original owner. Give them a call, they are easy to work with.

This past spring, when we were in Las Vegas, I noticed a large number of "wheel repair/welding shops". Their billboards said they can repair cracked, bent, broken or leaking rims.

You might want to see if there are any wheel repair shops that could fix your current wheel. I'm sure that would be much cheaper than buying a new one. In an area the size of Los Angeles, I'd almost bet you'll have your choice of where to get it repaired.

Thanks,
Were the valve stems replaced along with the tire change?

Yes. Steel stems. This gas been going on since new. I had always attributed to tire seepage.

I doubt due to age of wheel that Sendell will make any warranty but it would not hurt to call their customer support and inquire

Mind that the rimm must be allowed for the higher pressure and weight.
If not, possible leakage of the rimm...he mayby that is why it slowleaks.

Ask for that info, but first determine what is needed.
Max pressure if given is cold pressure, so rising above that by temp rising in tire is included .
Max weight if given, must be enaugh for the real weight, so if overloaded, that overliaded weight, thoug that also has its reserves.

I have always just measured the bolt pattern and found one of the same diameter made for another vehicle. I may be wrong, but I don't see keystone installing proprietary wheels. I did this for my trailer and found several vehicles used the same wheel, this made the search pretty easy.

I was in the wheel repair business for 10 years before selling it and retiring. Unless the crack is where a spoke attaches to the rim, it should be able to be repaired. I've personally successfully welded on thousands of wheels. In fact, one of my Montana wheels developed a leak, turned out to be a casting issue in the barrel that I aggravated when going to load range F.

We would charge $85 to fix the rim (plus $20 to dismount/mount and balance).

Google wheel repair near me and see what you find.

Bought an extra rim for my travel trailer. Looks like the same wheel. They do have other sizes but this is for a 15".

Looks like the same wheel, thanks.
I spoke with Sendell and they suggested that I take it to my local vendor, Americs'a Tires, and have them reinspect it.
I wish that it was cracked, then I could get it repaired, but it seems to me that it is porous and it leaks very slowly, 4-5 psi a month.
I thought that it might be the China Bombs at first, but after getting Maxxis tires, I am now convinced it is the rim.
Thanks for all of your suggestions.

I had the same issue. After taking it to a number of tire shops, one finally found a #4 finish nail nicely hidden deeply in a tiny tread line on a line filled bigger nobby on the tire.
I'll bet you have the same issue. An Occam's Razor solution.
It might be worth a shop completely taking off the tire & looking/feeling from the inside.

Trekwood
Scroll down and select Rim Only. $244 or so plus shipping.
The model even has T02 in the rim. So probably same SenDel brand

Wheel/Rim info

In accordance with the information provided in FMVSS (standards) the vehicle manufacturer is only required to provide basic wheel/rim sizes on the vehicle certification label along with the approving authority (Mostly “J” for Japan).

The wheel manufacturer is required to ensure that the wheel/rim specifications are provided to the tire installers. The wheel/rim specifications must be appropriate for each fitment. The wheel/rim manufacturer is required to provide owners with wheel/rim specifications on request.

Here is an example of how wheels/rims are described on vehicle certification labels.

https://www.keystoneforums.com/forum...pictureid=6802

I used the above reference because it has a look at the new RV cargo label.
