Handicap accessibility questions

We have been taking trips with our Hideaway for the past 5 years or so, but my wife is now confined to a wheelchair. As she declined I was able to add grab bars in the trailer for her, but now the problem is getting her in and out. Since we can't use the chair in the trailer I am looking for feedback about ways to get her in and out. She can't manage the current steps at all, and we have looked at different step or ramp setups but would like to know what others have found to overcome this issue. Thanks in advance for any info. I thought there may have been discussions about this in the past, but I don't have much good luck trying to use the search tool on this forum.

Can't help with websites or brand names, but in our travels have seen handicap lifts on 5th wheels & motorhomes in RV parks so they do exist.

There is a company out here called “mobility access”. I have no clue if they are nation wide, I wish you all the best in your search.

Not sure how relevant, I was in a wheelchair for a short bit, had to use a knee scooter in the trailer. I did go in and out by sitting on my butt.
Maybe a toy hauler with a drop down gate would be a good long term solution.
