HELP!! Battery Bay Wires

Folks
Thanks for taking a min to read this.

I am trying to understand the wiring on the attached picture.

What I am trying to achieve is to isolate the house DC wire when I put my RV in storage so I don't have to disconnect the batteries. Currently there is a disconnect for the charger and the invertor. I am going to buy a third disconnect and would like to place it in between the lower fuse and the battery.

My question is can I separate the higher fuse and run a wire straight to the battery for the charger? Then place a disconnect in-between the lower fuse and battery?

Should I relocate the blue wire, which I believe to be the emergency brake power, straight to the battery?

The 3 red wires in question go to leveling system, slides and I am not sure which the third wire goes to. It would be nice if we could get our hands on a wiring schematic.

RV information:

Thank you in advance

You've got three cables (at least) coming off "+", one of them unswitched; and "-" is out of the photo.

If you are looking to disconnect your battery completely, perhaps the best method would be to add a switch to the "-" cable, assuming there is only one cable going to "-".

I wouldn't worry a lot about leaving the blue wire powered. If you took the battery out of the rig completely for storage, as many people do, the blue wire isn't going to be powered anyway.

That wiring looks a lot better than my Bullet did, at least on the positive side. I am with LHaven. Put a disconnect on the negative side if you need one.

X3!
There will be 1 negative cable going directly to ground, that's the cable to put the disconnect on in order to totally disconnect all DC power.

^^^ What they said... With a "split feed" on the positive battery cable, you're going to have issues disconnecting all power to the trailer with a single switch.

If you have a single negative battery cable, run the switch to that cable. If there are two or more cables connected to the battery negative terminal, then move ALL of those cables to one pole of your new battery disconnect switch and then connect the other pole to the battery negative terminal. That way, turning off that "new switch" will effectively remove all power from the trailer.
