Damaged Countertop

It looks like my dealer damaged my countertop last time my unit was in for repairs. Unfortunately it took me a few weeks to notice it since we haven't been able to use the trailer since picking it up.

Any recommendations on how I can patch and seal this so it isn't as noticeable?

I assume the dealer won't help since it's been so long since I picked it up and can't really prove that it was them and not me.

I'd first touch base with the dealership. As you said, they probably won't accept responsibility, but the service manager (not the phone tree talker) needs to know what his/her employees are doing to customer trailers. By reporting the problem to the dealership supervision, your input may help them with information they need to "fix the problem" if they have a history of issues with one specific employee.... It never hurts to keep management informed...

As for repair, check with any kitchen or bath remodeling firm in your area. Even Home Depot or Lowe's probably has a list of "countertop/bath tub fiberglass/granite repair experts. Most companies that install countertops will have one or two "on call". Talking to one of them may get your trailer fixed so you won't even notice the chip.

How long is a "few" weeks, a couple, 3 or months? That should be shown to the SM and insist that they fix it. Depending on your relationship with the dealership they may or may not - I would expect them to but I know my dealership top to bottom.

I could have sworn it was a few weeks but checked my calendar and it was almost two months ago when we picked it up from them for the final wave of warranty repairs.

So I would expect the chances of them helping out are minimal.
