Antenna booster

When the antenna booster is off I can get a tv signal but as soon as I turn it on the signal goes away? And I know when its on because the light lights up. Anybody have the same problem? I haven't dug into it to far yet thought I would se if anybody has had the same problem. Thanks

Do you have the TV set to antenna when the booster is on?

The OTA antenna switch is often incorrectly referred to as a "Booster"... it is not a booster... what it actually does is supplies 12 volts DC to the antenna head amplifier that is an "Active" electronic part that needs power to work...

IF your OTA TV signals drop when switch is ON and the antenna is in Active instead of passive mode then most likely you have an issue up top with the antenna preamp...

This link has the manual for the Sensar III antenna head and how to troubleshoot your issue....
