De-Winterizing

1st full season and need some help with the de-winterization process. We have a 2020 272BH.

Purchased our Hideout in August and the dealership winterized it for me but with Covid, it wasn’t something I could be present for nor are they able to take me for an appointment to run through things as we are currently in a SAHO.

Looking for tips and tricks.....guidance on the de-winterization and things I should be prepared for.

Any help is appreciated!!!

TIA

I have a 2020 29rks 5th wheel so it may be different. But to de winterize mine all I did was connect to city water. Turn on the faucets and run water through each one hot and cold, kitchen, bathroom, outside until the water was clear cleaning out the pipes of the pink antifreeze. If your freshwater tank was also winterize then drain it fill with water and drain it again. Then fill with water and flush the line by turning on the faucets.

The manual has good advice and the process is fairly easy. Instead of telling how I do it, I follow the manual. But, more importantly the de- winterization is a time to check out everything/all systems. I would not bet everything is fine even if it is new until you or someone you pay checks. Nothing like going on the 1st trip and find problems. The roof needs inspected down to the tires/wheels/brakes/wheel bearings. I do all or most and it takes a day or so.

does anyone have a picture of the directions of the valves for a hide out 175LHS when it’s not winterized but in use… Are both valves supposed to be pointed toward the hot water heater?

Don't know which way they should be pointed, but pull the drain plug from WH turn water on and see if water is pumping out. That would indicate if its it open or closed position.
Edit: a single valve system that will work, not sure about the 2 valve style.
