Upgraded from Pop-up to 1650EX Bullet Crossfire Hybrid

Hi all. My wife and I have been pop up camping for years, always dry camping.

We just bought a 2018 1650EX Bullet Crossfire Hybrid. We're very excited.

Our trips this summer are all dry camping, but I'm sure that will change with time.

Lots to learn, very happy to be here and to get some help and share our experiences. If anyone has any questions about audio recording or downhill skiing, I know a lot about both!

Steve

The question is do you do both at the same time?

Ha, thanks for the welcome. No 4 track for us, all Pro Tools computer based recording. I own a studio, and in the winters I ski in the mornings and work in the afternoons.

Once ski season is over, it's biking and camping.

Ask any questions in the appropriate sections of the forums.. a lot of regulars on the site with a lot of experience .. ( I’ve watched a few documentaries lately on different recording studios from the 60’s thru the 90’s pretty interesting)

Welcome! It’s a great RV, we previously owned the 2016 model year for a couple years.

Thanks. That's good to hear. It's big for us, small compared to most others -- perfect size we hope.

Thanks Spicecars, Sarge and Cannonman.

I too teach skiing, but only part time on the weekends.

Definitely love Utah snow, have skied Alta, The Canyons and Park City.

I won't be retired, I'll be retreaded.

Steve, you must not have been around to hear the sounds I made our last trip to Snowshoe in West Virginia when I ended up on a double black diamond trying to return to the chalet. Ever see a 70 year old man with a bum knee snowplow most of the way with tears in his eyes....and nine-year-olds zooming by about 50 MPH? Nope, that mistake was not made again!! But a great place to ski for east coast.
And welcome to the forum, by the way.

What a great group and warm welcome. I've been very active on a ski forum for many years, so I know the forum-ropes. Also have gotten some help on a Subaru Outback forum (I'm on my 4th Outback of my life right now.)

Double black diamonds are usually moguls, and snowplowing down moguls is no fun!

I'm 68, but stay off the double blacks.
