Springdale 1740RN owner

Hello,
Can anyone tell me what the tire pressure should be for our new camper please?
We’re new owners and are struggling to find it.
Thanks

What year camper? What size tire? What ply rating are the tires? Have you looked at the tire inflation sticker on the driveres side front on the outside?

If you go up to the "UserCP" at the top of the page you can click on it and then edit signature. Enter the make, year, and model number of your trailer and tow vehichle and it will bring more context to the responees you get.

Look on the street side of the RV for a yellow/white Tire and Loading info sticker. It will be near the front of the trailer. It will indicate the correct tire size and PSI (among other info) for the tires that were on the trailer as delivered from the factory. I don't know if this is a brand new trailer, but I would also double-check this against the actual tire size and max PSI that is embossed on the tire sidewall.

That 80 psi is the "cold" pressure which means before traveling so all the tires are at/near ambient temperature. That doesn't mean that every time the temperature varies you need to adjust pressures. Once a week, once a month or whatever you chose to do on a regular basis.

It should also be on the sidewall of the tires. Welcome from northern MN.

Once you take a look at the tire sidewalls, if they say TRAILER KING, start doing a search on this tire brand. Forum is full of opinions. While many new owners are loathe to spend money on quality tires when the tires that came on their camper are new, many just replace the Trailer Kings with a brand that has a better reputation for piece of mind. And do put together a signature as suggested. Cheers.
